Do You Know Of A Child That Didn’t Get Anything For Christmas????

Up to 300,000 Americans under 18 are lured into the commercial sex trade every year.

The average victims age is 11 to 14.  I wonder what they got for Christmas?  Some dope or maybe some alcohol that someone forced them to drink, and maybe a pack of cigarettes.

According to the National Runaway Switchboard 1.3 million runaway and homeless youth live on America’s streets every day.

Do you know that in 2014, 1 out of every 6 runaways fell into the hands of Traffickers?

In 2015 that number fell to 1 out of every 5 runaways fell into the hands of Traffickers.

The life expectancy of a Child that has been Trafficked is 3 to 7 years.  They are found dead from attack, abuse, HIV and other STD’s, malnutrition, overdose or suicide.

Do you know that not 1 state in our country has Laws already enacted that will guarantee safe, protected housing, on-going counseling, continuing education, and support groups until these victims are healed within and without.

California just enacted the first step, and that is guarantee that these victims will be treated as victims, and not prosecuted as criminals, as so many have all over our Country up until now.  You can read about this in the newspapers at this very moment, the 2 sides of the California Law Makers have carried this into the media as a mud-slinging match.

Ark of Hope for Children is empowering advocates and donors to bring care and awareness to those victimized as children by human trafficking, child abuse and bullying.  Ark of Hope is a human rights umbrella organization using a trauma informed approach to serve survivors through our various programs.

This approach acknowledges that traumatized people often respond to daily life quite differently even years after their traumatic experiences ended. If we can address their trauma, we can change lives. Unconditional love, understanding and mentoring support can empower victims to mold the challenges of their past into hope filled futures as thriving survivors.

What I am talking about is a group of supporters, a support network, like a really big group of walking Reviews.  Every single one of the supporters have seen these fine people’s work time and time again.
