Walking Pneumonia?
But I Couldn’t Get Out Of Bed

Hello, I hope each of you are well and preparing for the time to think of others who are less fortunate than ourselves.

This is not the time of year to be pulling up lame, I have dedicated my life to doing all I can for others.

The Adverse Childhood Experience study of the 1990s proved that child abuse is strongly linked to drug addiction, mental illness, violent crime (both as a victim and a perpetrator), poverty, cancer, diabetes and heart disease.  In other words, the most pernicious and costly problems in our society.

This year alone, 10,000,000 young people, ages 13 to 24, will contract ONE (1) or MORE STI or STD.

Victims of Child Maltreatment and/or Trafficking have almost no hope of staying straight or away from the Sex Industry, due to the fact that not one state has viable LAWS in place to provide Safe, Protected Housing, On-going Counseling, Support Groups for as long as needed, or Guaranteed Continuing Education for these Dear Child Victims.

ARK OF HOPE FOR CHILDREN is the 24/7, Caring People that have dedicated their lives to giving these Children their lives back.

“Breaking the chains for those victimized as children by human trafficking, child abuse and bullying to lead survivors into lives filled with faith, hope and love.”

Ark of Hope for Children is empowering advocates and donors to bring care and awareness to those victimized as children by human trafficking, child abuse and bullying.  Ark of Hope is a human rights umbrella organization using a trauma informed approach to serve survivors through our various programs.

This approach acknowledges that traumatized people often respond to daily life quite differently even years after their traumatic experiences ended.  If we can address their trauma, we can change lives.  Unconditional Love, Understanding and Mentoring Support can empower victims to mold the challenges of their past into hope filled futures as thriving survivors.

I am very proud to say that We Give to this worthy cause, because I see every single day, the fine, selfless work these caring people do.

I want to ask everyone to open your hearts, and your pocketbooks, and join with us as We Give to ARK OF HOPE FOR CHILDREN.

Intervention is needed by these victims, join with us in giving this Holiday season, to ARK OF HOPE FOR CHILDREN.

Springfield Mom Creates Foundation To Fight Child Abuse

Springfield, Missouri – Cindy Dennis, author of child abuse prevention books, is creating the Give A Child A Voice Foundation.

By forming a nonprofit foundation, Dennis said she hopes to reach more children, parents, grandparents, foster parents and educators. As a foundation, she will be in a better position to raise funds and apply for grants.  And she can get cheaper “nonprofit” publishing rates.

The Springfield mom presented her plans Wednesday at the 1 Million Cups meeting, where entrepreneurs pitch their business concepts to an audience.

“Our objective is to reduce and eventually end all forms of child abuse, neglect and molestation,” she told the audience.  “We will achieve this by teaching kids to stand up for themselves, be vigilant and become a crusader for their own well-being.”

“Children will learn that their bodies are sacred and no one has a right to victimize them.  They will learn tactics and strategies that can lead to prevention.”

Dennis said as the foundation raises money, she will be able to create a high-quality video “that is engaging to children with animation and songs.”  Dennis also wants to distribute the book “Friend Manual” to kindergarten through third-grade classes, preschools and churches.  “Friend Manual” teaches kids about safety, the difference between good secrets and bad secrets, and what to do if a stranger approaches or tries to grab them.

Dennis said the foundation will be run by volunteers and the office (in her home) is free.

“Someone asked if I will get burnt out,” she said.  “I’ve been doing this for 15 years, so I really don’t think I’ll be getting burnt out.

“We did have an incident in my family and that is why I’m so devoted to this,” she added.

The Give A Child A Voice Foundation board of directors includes Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott, KGBX’s Liz Delany, Erik Dennis, Councilwoman Kristi Fulnecky, April Harrell, Stacy James, Sam Sandora, Dawn Schaffer and Lauren O’Reilly.

Dennis said they are working to obtain 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Dennis has said her inspiration for her book series came from a relative who was molested at the age of 3.

Find out more about her books and watch videos featuring local celebrities like Jeff Houghton and Doug Pitt reading her books at cindylubooks.com.

Upcoming Fundraiser

A private concert featuring the band “Members Only” will be on April 30 at the Hotel Vandivort.  The venue was donated by Hotel Vandivort owner John McQueary, Dennis said.  Tickets will be $100 with proceeds going to the foundation’s video project.

Dennis said she is looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor the event.  If interested, email giveachildavoice@att.net.

Make A Difference

Make A Difference:  a New Resolution

You KNOW that you deserve MORE;  you wakeup, shower(or maybe you shower at night, or both, my point is: you keep yourself clean), dress nice, have breakfast(I hope you have enough to eat), then you go about your business for the day.

Who else do you KNOW deserves MORE, your family, your friends????

OK, now comes the hard part:  WHAT exactly do you, your family, and your friends deserve MORE of????

  1. Respect
  2. Consideration
  3. Trust
  4. Thoughtfulness
  5. Accepted
  6. Liked
  7. Loved
  8. Jobs
  9. Education
  10. Understanding

I KNOW that I deserve MORE, just as my family, friends, and neighbors deserve MORE.

Change begins within one’s own self with the desire for something different.  How can we affect change without first changing our own self, i.e. meeting the same standard.

~Robert StrongBow~

After the last year and four months I have finally realized that there are many people who are very unhappy with the Violence, racial strife, lack of respect, lack of friendship, lack of good will, Elder Abuse, Domestic Violence, Child Abuse, and very little genuine love.

Yesterday, while discussing our direction for the next year, the subject of New Year Resolutions suddenly became very real, and I saw it play out.  I ignored my two agitators when I awoke from my unplanned nap, and instead drew my new notebook and old days notebook close and went to work.

I have tested this repeatedly today in several different situations and I am very happy with the results, which was 100% positive, very positive.  I do want to tell everyone that I have been involving my Step-Father more and more for insight, comparison of opinions, and in search of ideas, with more and more interaction.  He was present at my last test, but when I brought the matter up after we had left, it occurred to me that we had finally more than communicated, after all these years he knew….

I CARE, and I know there are many more that care, and it is time for US to do all we can, but give me another few minutes to try to convince as many of the LEMMINGS to help, as possible.

I hear the beautiful people spout their racial rhetoric and TALK, and time and time again the LEMMINGS take up the chant, SEVERAL OF THESE LEMMING IDIOTS ARE RIGHT HERE ON WORDPRESS, and you can tell one or two by the fact that they never post during mid-morning while “SHE” is on TV, they wouldn’t dare miss HER HYPNOTIC BS, so they can spread more racial strife.

FIRST, I want to remind all Texans that as a promise for letting lotto into Texas, all proceeds would go to education….  OH SO SOME OF YOU REMEMBER.

OK, what all the beautiful people couldn’t care less about telling you is that all the education you want is right there on that internet FREE for the taking.  IF YOU DON’T know how, email me, but I expect honesty.

I hope and pray you will join with us to help 2016 get started right, if you do, copy Our graphic “MAKE A DIFFERENCE” and post it every time you get a chance.

Now I want you all to watch this short video about Bullying please, the name is “The Silent Word”.
