BUILDING AND MAINTAINING A GOOD FAMILY

There is something BAD wrong when any Child fears their Parents.

Building a Good Family

There are basic qualities and values needed to have and maintain a good family.

These qualities and values are:

  • Love
  • Honor, always truth and loyalty
  • Mutual Respect
  • Kindness
  • Communication
  • Consideration
  • Duty
  • Responsibility
The Future of this world

Children are the future of this world.  As a good parent it is your responsibility to teach your children from birth, the above qualities and values, as these are handed down from generation-to-generation, and prepares them to be good family members, good friends, good neighbors, good employees, good leaders, and good citizens.

Good caring parents teach by example, always remembering that genuine praise, guidance, and understanding are the mark of a good parent.  As your child grows, regular family quality time strengthens trust and mutual respect, forging a stronger family bond, where communication grows easier, and good memories are more easily made.

Maintaining A Good Family

The five “L’s” of a good, strong, family:

1 – Love is at the heart of the family.  All humans have the need to love and to be loved; the family is normally the place where love is expressed.  Love is the close personal blending of physical and mental togetherness.  It includes privacy, intimacy, sharing, belonging, and caring.  The atmosphere of real love is one of honesty, understanding, patience, and forgiveness.  Such love does not happen automatically; it requires constant daily effort by each family member.  Loving families share activities and express a great deal of gratitude for one another.  Love takes time, affection, and a positive attitude.

2 – Learning – Families are where we learn values, skills, and behavior.  Strong families manage and control their learning experiences.  They establish a pattern of home life. They select appropriate television programs.  They guide their children into the world outside the home.  They do not let social forces rule their family life.  They involve themselves in neighborhood, school, government, church, and business in ways that support their family values.  Strong families teach by example and learn through experience as they explain and execute their values.

3 – Loyalty – Strong families have a sense of loyalty and devotion toward family members. The family sticks together.  They stand by each other during times of trouble.  They stand up for each other when attacked by someone outside the family.  Loyalty builds through sickness and health, want and good fortune, failure and success, and all the things the family faces.  The family is a place of shelter for individual family members.  In times of personal success or defeat, the family becomes a cheering section or a mourning bench. They also learn a sense of give and take in the family, which helps prepare them for the necessary negotiations in other relationships.

4 – Laughter is good family medicine.  Humor is an escape valve for family tension. Through laughter we learn to see ourselves honestly and objectively.  Building a strong family is serious business, but if taken too seriously, family life can become very tense. Laughter balances our efforts and gives us a realistic view of things.  To be helpful, family laughter must be positive in nature.  Laughing together builds up a family.  Laughing at each other divides a family.  Families that learn to use laughter in a positive way can release tensions, gain a clearer view, and bond relationships.

5 – Leadership is essential.  Family members, usually the adults, must assume responsibility for leading the family.  If no one accepts this vital role, the family will weaken.  Each family needs its own special set of rules and guidelines.  These rules are based on the family members’ greatest understanding of one another.  The guidelines pass along from the adults to the children by example, with firmness and fairness.  Strong families can work together to establish their way of life, allowing children to have a voice in decision making and enforcing rules.  However, in the initial stages and in times of crisis, adult family members must get the family to work together.

Nancy Pelosi’s Election Bill Will DESTROY Free And Fair Elections!

Democrats radical agenda to federalize
state elections

The top legislative priority of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is to launch an assault against the First Amendment and against free and fair elections.  Without these foundational freedoms, America will be unable to maintain her democratic republic.

Take action now before it’s too late and let your voice be heard.  Tell your U.S. senators and representative to publicly oppose and vote against the expansion of government regulation and censorship of state elections.

TAKE ACTION NOW

The House version (H.R. 1) and Senate version (S. 1) of Pelosi’s and Schumer’s bills are deceptively named the “For the People Act.”  Their bills are not about the citizenry but about Democrats preserving and cementing political power.  They would remove the constitutional authority of the individual states to run federal elections and put that power into the hands of those in the U.S. Congress and the administrative state.

These deceptive and destructive bills would require non-profit organizations like American Family Association to publicly disclose financial donors’ names to the federal government.  These names would then be made available to the public and searchable on government websites.  Names of donors could then be used, for example, to publicly intimidate those whose religious convictions define marriage as being between one man and one woman, or those who believe that sex is a fixed biological reality established at conception.  Such an act of intimidation of donors would harm the ability of non-profit organizations to advocate on behalf of their supporters.  These bills would weaponize the Federal Election Commission against Americans and use the force of government as a way to silence dissenting opinion.

Pelosi’s and Schumer’s versions of the bill would also federalize state elections by imposing unconstitutional mandates and would expand federal government regulation of state elections.  This agenda would violate the rights of states and their citizens to establish voter qualifications to ensure integrity at the polls by enforcing “progressive” laws on voter identification, absentee ballots, and mail-in voting.

Heritage Foundation has provided a good analysis of the “For the People Act.”  You can read it here.

The U.S. Congress could be voting on these bills soon.  Before it’s too late, let your voice be heard and tell your U.S. senators and representative to publicly oppose and vote against H.R. 1 and S. 1.

American Girl Inspiring Children With Sodomite Agenda

American Girl, owned by Mattel, sends LGBTQ message to Young Girls.

American Girl Sends LGBTQ Message
to Young Girls

Conservative parents are outraged!  American Girl released its first doll with an accompanying book that has an LGBTQ storyline.  This is unacceptable!

American Girl named its Kira Bailey doll the “2021 Girl of the Year.”  The doll character is a 10-year-old wildlife conservationist who is passionate about “animal protection and climate change action.”  In the doll’s accompanying book titled Kira Down Under, Kira visits an animal sanctuary in Australia operated by her great-aunts, Mamie and Lynette, who are in a same-sex marriage.  In the book, Kira explains that her aunts married “after the law was changed to allow it,” referring to Australian Parliament’s 2017 decision to legalize gay marriage, two years after the U.S. Supreme Court did the same.

As Christians, we know that even though something is legalized doesn’t make it moral or right.

American Girl, owned by Mattel, first made its announcement in a press release revealing that their dolls are designed to reflect the present time with “contemporary characters that inspire children“.

Why can’t the toy manufacturer let kids be kids instead of glamorizing a sinful lifestyle?  American Girl is confusing our innocent children by attempting to normalize same-sex marriage.

The doll company did not even include a warning so parents would have a heads-up.  Within the first few pages of Chapter 1, Kira Down Under includes an illustrated picture of the two women walking down the aisle at their wedding.

This irresponsible storyline is dangerous to the well-being of our children.  American Girl should avoid aiming to please a small percentage of customers while pushing away conservative customers.

American Girl could have chosen another storyline or characters to write about and remained neutral in the culture war.  American Girl is attempting to desensitize our youth by featuring a storyline with two lesbian aunts.  If your child has not seen this yet, then make sure she is not exposed to this content.  Do all you can to avoid a premature conversation that she is far too young to understand.

We must remain diligent and stand up for biblical values and truth. Scripture says multiple times that homosexuality is wrong, and God will not tolerate this sinful nature.
