2-Year-Old Child Left in Hot Car in
Grand Prairie Hospitalized
Grand Prairie, TX – A child left inside a hot car Wednesday in Grand Prairie has been hospitalized in good condition, police say.
Grand Prairie police responded at about 3 p.m. to a shopping center near State Highway 360 and Camp Wisdom Road, where they said an elderly relative who was watching the 2-year-old girl had forgotten about the child in the backseat when going into a store.
The relative was inside for a brief time before remembering the child and calling for help, police said.
Medics transported the young girl to Medical Center Arlington, where she was responsive. She was later taken to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth for further treatment.
Police said there have been no charges filed against the relative, but that could be possible.
Officials: Girls were hiding when found
in PA home
LANCASTER, PA – Detectives are questioning many of the 12 girls found in a small Pennsylvania home Friday, hoping to figure out who exactly the girls are, and if they ever suffered abuse.
The girls were found without birth certificates and other public records have not yet been located, according to authorities. Lee Kaplan, 51, faces a number of charges including statutory sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault for allegedly fathering two of the children with the oldest girl found, now 18.
When authorities raided Kaplan’s Feasterville home on Friday after receiving a tip, the children were found hiding in the basement and in a chicken coop, among other places, according to Lower Southampton Director of Public Safety Robert Hoopes.
A couple is also charged in the case. Daniel Stoltzfus is charged with conspiracy of statutory sexual assault and children endangerment. His wife, Savilla Stoltzfus, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The Stolftzfus’ allegedly told police they gave the oldest girl, who they said was their daughter, to Kaplan several years ago in exchange for financial help.
Savilla Stoltzfus allegedly said that all of the children were her offspring, Hoopes told CBS News on Monday.
“She was in the house, and she said that, but we don’t really know,” Hoopes said. “There’s no documentation.”
He added that he is unaware if the Stoltzfus’ have had any male children.
Hoopes said the children found in Kaplan’s home were outfitted in traditional Amish attire, and as a result, were brought to homes in nearby Lancaster County, which has a large Amish community.
However, it is not clear if the children have had any relationships or experiences outside Kaplan’s home, Hoopes said.
At a press briefing on Saturday, Hoopes said that it appeared the children were home-schooled. Musical instruments and homework were found in the basement of Kaplan’s home, he said.
The children were brought to two separate locations in Bucks County Monday, where a total of three detectives are questioning them, hoping to learn about their lives, Hoopes said.
“At first, they’re just going to try to see general information. Who are their parents? Where are they from?” Hoopes said. He noted that it is possible that the children could identify by the last name Stoltzfus, but not necessarily be related to the suspects.
“Stoltzfus is a very common name in the Amish community,” Hoopes said.
Authorities will spend the next day or two trying to learn about life inside Kaplan’s home. In particular, they want to learn whether the other children suffered the same kind of abuse that authorities allege the oldest one did.
Authorities don’t currently plan to press more charges against any of the suspects, but that could change after the girls are questioned, Hoopes said.
Convicted sex offender attempts taking
LUBBOCK, TX – A Lubbock man has been arrested and charged with attempt to compel prostitution after he allegedly approached a 14-year-old girl at a 7-11 gas station on Parkway Drive on Tuesday.
The man has also been identified as a registered sex offender.
According to Lubbock police documents, just after 1:30 p.m., officers responded to the gas station after reports of an attempted kidnapping. The victim, a 14-year-old girl, was fueling up her mother’s car while her mother paid inside.
Reports say 53-year-old Ricky James Overhulser pulled up next to the girl and told her to get into his car. The girl refused and Overhulser told her again to get in his car and she refused a second time. He then asked her if she “dated.” She told him “no” and went into the store to get her mother.
“She got pretty startled, as a 14-year-old would, as you can imagine,” Lt. Ray Mendoza, Lubbock Police Department, says.
Police say when the mother came outside, Overhulser had driven away. She was finishing fueling up her car when he returned, pulled up close to her car and fanned cash while he asked, “how much for your daughter.” The girl’s mother called him a “dirty old man” and let him know she was calling police.
Overhulser drove away in a white Pontiac passenger car.
Mendoza says the mother and daughter were able to get a license plate number.
“The detectives get called to the scene, they immediately go looking for him, try to hunt him down,” he says. “We put out a broadcast to all our local officers. We reached out to DPS, the sheriff’s department, to be on the lookout.”
Enough information was gathered to obtain an arrest warrant late Wednesday night.
“He had a couple of municipal court warrants, so they were at least, trying to arrest him while the investigators continued to work the case,” Mendoza explains.
Overhulser was already in the Lubbock County Jail on unrelated charges and was re-arrested on the new charges.
Overhulser has been a registered sex offender since 2000, where his victim was a 16-year-old female, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety sex offender registry. He spent 10 years in jail, from 2000 until 2010.
“Always report any kind of suspicious behavior,” Mendoza says. “The citizens are our eyes and ears. If you see something, say something.”

Black Lives Matter
Is Al Sharpton anywhere close???? Now I always wondered why I heard these famous people telling everyone that would listen about the Disparity in Our Education system.
When I came across the FACT that this year alone 10,000,000 young people, 13-years-of-age to 24-years-of-age would contract one (1) or MORE STI or STD, I cried…. and it wasn’t no CLIMATE CHANGE LIE fake tears, this thing tore the heart out of me.
What bothered me more than anything was the fact that I could not find any assembled data on young Children 0-years-of-age to 12-years-of-age.
That is when I found the almost unbelievably high disproportionate number of young African-Americans infected with the HIV/Aids virus.
I am going to tell you one more thing that you all should already know, then I am going to publish this. Because the points I mentioned, but have not touched on should be very easy to figure out.
How many African-Americans, White Americans, and Latino Americans have got a steady job???? NOW, how many of these people working have enough money to buy just half of the ammo used in Orlando????
