Pantene Refuses to Remain Neutral

Pantene just released an online commercial that has resulted in backlash from Christians and non-Christians alike. Sawyer, a transgender girl, and Sawyer’s two moms are featured in the latest Pantene ad, which glamorizes the LGBTQ lifestyle.

“Just be yourself and don’t let anybody tell you who you are” is one of the extremely misleading taglines from the new Pantene ad.  A feel-good nod to those who falsely believe gender can be chosen, the tagline sadly goes against the biblical truth that God created us and decided who we were before forming us in our mothers’ wombs.

The commercial is narrated almost entirely by one mom as the other mom quietly sits beside her, with a few added lines from Sawyer.  But do not be deceived.  Notice some of the misleading wording used within the ad to normalize the LGBTQ lifestyle:

  • Opening tagline: For LGBTQ kids, hair is more than how you look. It’s how you are seen.
  • Sawyer has always been super gender creative.
  • And hair has been a big part of her transition.
  • Once she told us that she identified as a girl, she immediately wanted to grow her hair out.
  • Sawyer said, “It made me feel good and confident, and it made my insides match my outsides.”
  • This was a kid who knew who she was from such a young age.
  • So, I’m always telling Sawyer to never hide who she is.  Always be herself.  Never be afraid to step out and exist as the person that she is.
  • Sawyer states, “My advice is just be yourself and don’t let anybody tell you who you are.
  • Closing tagline: Those who make us feel seen make us feel loved.
  • Final logo: Pantene/Family is #BEAUTIFULGBTQ/Proud to Support Transgender Visibility

Pantene Pro-V also tweeted:

“Hair is a large part of our identity.  And for LGBTQ+ youth like Sawyer, who choose to express themselves, their style, & their creativity through their hairstyle, it can help them feel seen.  Catch up with Sawyer and her mom Ashley & see how this family is #BeautifulLGBTQ.”

Procter & Gamble, Pantene’s parent company, also owns several other lines of products that conservatives should avoid purchasing and supporting.  This ad is not the first time P&G has pushed the LGBTQ agenda in their commercials.  In fact, 1Million Moms has launched campaigns and voiced our concern in the past regarding P&G’s transgender Gillette ad for Father’s Day, as well as their lesbian Head & Shoulders ad for prom.

But instead of ditching its politically-charged messages, P&G took their message to an even deeper level with this transgender Pantene ad.  So let this serve as a warning from One Million Moms to P&G customers that do not want to support ideology that pediatricians actually call “child abuse.”

We wanted to let you know that, once again, P&G has decided to cater to homosexuals and their sinful lifestyle choice.  And since a portion of each sale goes to help finance P&G’s social agenda that has nothing to do with hair care products, it’s time to find another, family-friendly brand and product line.  After all, there are plenty of hair care products on the market for moms to buy for their families that do not support liberal causes. We have a choice.

Moms are aware that P&G manufactures a long list of popular products, but P&G needs to remember that other competitors make similar products. Moms also know that store brand products will help the grocery bill in this tough economy.

Have no fear!  One Million Moms will continue to support companies in the future when we fully understand that they stand on principles and morality.  Likewise, we will choose to stay away from those who do not support moral decency.

Pantene needs to hear from you.

Openly supporting the homosexual agenda versus remaining neutral in the cultural war is just bad business.  If Christians cannot find corporate neutrality with Pantene, they will vote with their pocketbook and support companies that are neutral.

Pantene is irresponsible to air such a commercial, especially when families are likely to be watching.  It is extremely destructive and damaging to impressionable children viewing the commercial.  Everyone knows children mimic what they see and hear.

Sign our pledge to keep Pantene and P&G products off your shopping list.  Let Pantene know that if they are going to offend you, they won’t be doing it with your money.

Conservative parents are outraged!  American Girl released its first doll with an accompanying book that has an LGBTQ storyline.  This is unacceptable!

American Girl named its Kira Bailey doll the “2021 Girl of the Year.”  The doll character is a 10-year-old wildlife conservationist who is passionate about “animal protection and climate change action.”  In the doll’s accompanying book titled Kira Down Under, Kira visits an animal sanctuary in Australia operated by her great-aunts, Mamie and Lynette, who are in a same-sex marriage.  In the book, Kira explains that her aunts married “after the law was changed to allow it,” referring to Australian Parliament’s 2017 decision to legalize gay marriage, two years after the U.S. Supreme Court did the same.

Sign our petition urging American Girl to discontinue its storyline that includes Kira’s two lesbian aunts.

As Christians, we know that even though something is legalized doesn’t make it moral or right.

American Girl, owned by Mattel, first made its announcement in a press release revealing that their dolls are designed to reflect the present time with “contemporary characters that inspire children“.

Why can’t the toy manufacturer let kids be kids instead of glamorizing a sinful lifestyle?  American Girl is confusing our innocent children by attempting to normalize same-sex marriage.

The doll company did not even include a warning so parents would have a heads-up.  Within the first few pages of Chapter 1, Kira Down Under includes an illustrated picture of the two women walking down the aisle at their wedding.

This irresponsible storyline is dangerous to the well-being of our children.  American Girl should avoid aiming to please a small percentage of customers while pushing away conservative customers.

American Girl could have chosen another storyline or characters to write about and remained neutral in the culture war.  American Girl is attempting to desensitize our youth by featuring a storyline with two lesbian aunts.  If your child has not seen this yet, then make sure she is not exposed to this content.  Do all you can to avoid a premature conversation that she is far too young to understand.

We must remain diligent and stand up for biblical values and truth. Scripture says multiple times that homosexuality is wrong, and God will not tolerate this sinful nature.

OKC Police searching for 2 young men who face 52 felony Child Sex Abuse charges

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (KFOR) –  According to Oklahoma City police, a metro married couple is on the run, facing more than 50 felony sex abuse charges involving a child.

OKCPD says a warrant has been issued for 25-year-old Robert Inman and 28-year-old Matthew Inman of Oklahoma City.

“We just thought they were taking a little vacation,” the suspects’ family member told KFOR.

KFOR showed up at the Inmans’ last known address Wednesday when a man, claiming to be a family member, says he thought he was temporarily house-sitting.

“The detectives said they’ve been in Florida,” the family member said.

Wednesday, the Oklahoma County District Attorney signed off on 52 counts against the couple, including indecent or lewd acts with a minor, forcible sodomy and child pornography.

Arrest warrant issued for couple accused of sexually assaulting child dozens of times over multiple years

According to detectives, the abuse had been happening for years.

“The crimes stem back to when this child was just four years old.” Sgt. Megan Morgan with the Oklahoma City Police Department said.

Police say they made several visits to the Inman home over the summer, finding “content on a cell phone” and a “sex toy”.

According to a police report, Matthew and Robert were home at the time, so officers interviewed them.

A family member told KFOR on camera the two haven’t been home in months, but then changed his story.

“They just left, and the son just told us to come here and stay here at his house,” the family member said.

“You didn’t know there was this alleged sexual assault going on?” KFOR reporter Peyton Yager asked.

“No,” the family member said.  “We did not. I am sorry.”

Robert and Matthew Inman each face a $1 million bond when arrested.

WE THE PEOPLE Demand and Deserve Freedom of Conscience from Government Discrimination

One Million Moms is asking you to encourage your member of Congress to support Rep. Doug Lamborn’s bill to defund public broadcasting.

Congressman Lamborn (R-CO) has introduced legislation that would stop federal tax dollars from going to Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).  According to congressional appropriation records, the federally subsidized Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) receives over $400 million per year, and it sends about $60 million to PBS to promote an ideology of sexual deviancy and to attack religious liberty.  This must stop!

PBS has been airing a TV and an online series called Prideland to promote and normalize unbiblical sexuality.  By distributing and promoting Prideland, PBS is furthering attacks on Christianity and is making a mockery of the Bible and God’s design for human sexuality.

In the most recent PBS episode, Championing LGBTQ+ Healthcare in Mississippi, healthcare workers’ religious liberty and freedom of conscience are attacked.

Healthcare personnel in many states have religious liberty rights and freedom of conscience rights to protect them from the sexual deviancy agenda.  PBS is airing LGBTQ+ propaganda to undermine state laws designed to protect healthcare workers’ rights.

In particular, PBS has made it clear that it’s fighting against state laws like Mississippi’s H.B. 1523, which states:

The state government shall not take any discriminatory action against a person wholly or partially on the basis that the person declines to participate in the provision of treatments, counseling, or surgeries related to sex reassignment or gender identity transitioning or declines to participate in the provision of psychological, counseling, or fertility services based upon a sincerely held religious belief or moral conviction. …

This law prevents the government from forcing healthcare workers and counselors to provide services that would violate their “sincerely held religious belief or moral conviction.”  If providing gender identity transition care violates a healthcare worker’s religious belief or conviction, then the state government cannot force the worker to provide that service.

It is clear that PBS is using taxpayer funding to lobby the court of public opinion to subvert state laws that protect religious liberty and rights of conscience for healthcare personnel.

This is not just a Mississippi issue as the PBS Prideland series makes it clear that its sexual deviancy agenda is nationwide.

1MM needs you to take action now.  Urge your member of Congress to support Rep. Lamborn’s bill to defund public broadcasting.

More Signatures Still Needed

One Million Moms is excited about your response to our efforts to halt the release of the upcoming indie film Habit, in which Michael Jackson’s 22-year-old daughter plays a gender-bending Jesus.  Thank you for caring enough to take action and make a difference.

1MM has received more than 44,000 signatures on our petition to put an end to this blasphemous movie.  But we can’t stop now.

Our new goal is 75,000 signatures, so 1MM still needs your help.

There is no time to waste when it comes to stopping this sacrilegious film that mocks Christianity and ridicules people of faith.

According to an alert from Movieguide, “Once a movie has been made, it is almost impossible to stop its release.”

As of April, the film was in post-production, but Movieguide reports that the filmmakers are still searching for a company to distribute Habit and that some executives “have already distanced themselves from the film.”  That is why we must not quit!

Help us get the message across that there is no market for this abhorrent film!
